Robert L. Orr, D.D.S., M.S.D.
Dr. Orr grew up in Littlefield,
Texas. In high school, he lettered in football, basketball, track, and golf. He was a member of
the National Honor Society and Student Council and is an Eagle
Scout. He did his pre-dental undergraduate work at the University
of Texas in Austin and completed his D.D.S. and M.S.D. degrees
at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. He has served
as a member and officer of some 10 different professional societies
and associations. He has presented lectures and seminars both
in the United States and abroad. He is a past President of the
Colorado Orthodontic Association, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists,
American Association of Orthodontists Foundation and the prestigious
National Edward H. Angle Society and continues to be active in
all four organizations. He is a diplomate of the American Board
of Orthodontics.
Dr. Orr has been an active member
of our community and was a founding board member of the local
Buddy Werner Ski Racing Program. He has also served various positions
with the Youth Soccer and the Youth Basketball programs. He has
been an active member and player in the Men's Soccer Association.
Dr. Orr received the Rocky Mountain
Society of Orthodontist's salute for his commitment to
excellence and the ideals of the American Association of Orthodontics
Foundation in supporting research, teaching fellowships, and
the overall improvement in the science of Orthodontics.
He recently recieved distinguished
Awards from the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists and the
University of Texas Orthodontic Alumni Association.
